ARTISAN SALVAGE

  • 1. Start with a problem

Most designs begin with someone pointing out something that doesn't work as well as it could. And sometimes its a "lightbulb" moment!

  • 2. Sketch it

After receiving a suggestion (or an epiphany) a few sketches go down on paper first, to get a good idea of direction before proceeding.

  • 3. Model it

The right sketch then goes on to be modelled in the computer 3D software, where the functionality and aesthetics can be fine tuned.

  • 4. Print, test, repeat

Prototypes get printed and tested along side the modelling process, to assist with final tweaks, which allows me to lock in function and appearance. Only then does it go on sale.

Something not working the way it should?

As alot of ideas start with someone saying somthing along the lines of, "I wish this did...".   If there's something in your car, on your desk or anywhere else that could function better, tell me about it. I'll do my best to figure out a solution!
